HANOVER — After limiting spectators to just preapproved guests of coaches and student-athletes since Dec. 22, Dartmouth College is opening Leede Arena and Thompson Arena to students, faculty and staff, effective Tuesday.
Dartmouth students, faculty and staff will need a current, valid Dartmouth ID to get inside Leede Arena, home of the Big Green men’s and women’s basketball teams, and Thompson Arena, home to the men’s and women’s hockey programs.
All spectators will be required to wear masks while inside the venues and are prohibited from bringing in outside food. Concession stands will remain closed. The new policies are to be in place through at least Feb. 1, according to a Dartmouth Athletics news release.
Attendees will also have to present proof of either full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event.
Three other indoor venues — Karl Michael Pool (men’s and women’s swimming and diving), Berry Sports Center (men’s and women’s squash) and Boss Tennis Center (men’s and women’s tennis) — events will continue to be closed to all except player and coach guests on a pass list.
