ORFORD — A Lyme man shot and killed his cousin in Orford on Saturday, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.

Lance Goodrich, 35, of Lyme, is accused of killing Brooke Goodrich, 25, at a residence at 329 Route 10 in Orford, He is charged with one count of second-degree murder.

Lance Goodrich was taken into custody at about 4:30 p.m., on Saturday at 95 Barton Whitney Road in Newport. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday at Grafton County Superior Court in North Haverhill, according to the statement.

Hanover police responded to a report of a shooting in Orford at about 12:30 on Saturday. The home on Route 10 belongs to Wayne and Linda Goodrich, according to property records.
