HANOVER — Dartmouth College women’s soccer’s scheduled game at Brown University on Saturday night has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues.
In a news release, Dartmouth cited “COVID-19 concerns and safety protocols within the Dartmouth women’s soccer program.” The game, which opens Ivy League action, will be played on Sunday at 5 p.m. instead.
This is the first Dartmouth athletic event postponed because of COVID-19 this fall. The men’s and women’s tennis teams each had one match canceled in the spring.
The Big Green started their season with a run of five consecutive games without defeat. Dartmouth earned four victories, three at home and one away. The one draw came at No. 8 Georgetown. Since that run, Dartmouth has lost two straight.
