HANOVER — Freshman forward Hannah Curtin scored with 2½ minutes left in the second overtime to give the Dartmouth College women’s soccer team a 2-1 win over Sacred Heart on Thursday evening at Whitey Burnham Field.
Freshman forward Dasa Hase tallied Dartmouth’s first goal of the night, and junior goalkeeper Charlotte Cyr had five saves for the Big Green (4-0-1).
After a scoreless first half — Dartmouth’s fourth in five matches — the Pioneers (1-3-1) struck for the opening goal in the 68th minute. Hase answered just two minutes later, helped by an assist from senior midfielder Michael Guptill.
Dartmouth dominated in overtime until Curtin’s winner ended the contest in victory.
The Big Green visits Fairfield on Sunday.
