MANCHESTER — With no more Hanover Country Club of their own anymore, the members of the Hanover High golf team will find themselves calling several places home this fall. The first one turned out to be right hospitable.

Paced by a 3-over-par 37 from No. 1 player Spencer Lawe, Hanover opened its NHIAA Division I season on Wednesday with a sweep at Derryfield Country Club. Hanover (3-0) served as the home team for the match and looked comfortable doing so.

Lawe’s round was good enough for third place among individuals. All eight Hanover golfers easily broke 50; the four who joined Lawe with counting rounds — Dylan Jopp (42), Casey Graham (40), Andrew Cahoon (42) and John Hill (43) — finished in a tight pack.

Hanover (3-0) joins Nashua North and Exeter in a visit to Concord at Concord Country Club on Sept 3.

Team scores: Hanover 204, Nashua South 217, Manchester Memorial 236, Manchester Central 238.
