CLAREMONT, NH — Donna M. (Carpenter) Decato, 63, of Walnut Street, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021.
She was born in New London, NH on August 7, 1957 the daughter of the late Earle W. Carpenter, Jr. and Hazel (Lewis) Carpenter.
Donna graduated from Stevens High School in 1977 and had been employed by Mary Messer in New London doing domestic work. She worked for William P. Clough Extended Care Center in New London for a short period of time and had been employed by Rich’s Department Store in Lebanon as a clerk. Donna lived in New London before moving to Lebanon in 1985 and then to Claremont where she worked for Walmart, Kentucky Fried Chicken and delivered newspapers for the Eagle Times.
She was previously a member of The First Baptist Church of New London.
Members of her surviving family include her companion of 15 years, Roland Magoon of Claremont, NH; two brothers, Arthur Carpenter (Marcia) of Goodyear, AZ and David Carpenter (Louise) of Claremont, NH; a sister, Lori Earle of Tucson, AZ ; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, brother-in-law, Mike Earle and husband, Daniel G. Decato.
A graveside service will be held in Pine Hill Cemetery, Wilmot, NH in the spring.
