BRIDGEWATER — A race for Selectboard ended in a tie in Australian ballot voting on Tuesday and appears headed for a runoff.
Bridgewater Selectboard member Norman “Nope” Martin and challenger George Spear deadlocked 128-128.
Voters easily approved the $1.1 million town budget on a 195-53 vote.
