CHELSEA — Mary Ellen Hayward Parkman won a three-year term on the Selectboard, winning 113 votes to defeat Mark Whitney, 30 votes, and Jennifer Edson, 20, in Australian ballot voting on Town Meeting Day.
Whitney was unopposed for another Selectboard seat and won that with 112 votes.
Voters approved the $1.29 million general fund budget, 158-35.
In total, 113 residents voted by absentee ballot and 84 were in-person on Tuesday.
