ENFIELD CENTER, NH — April L. Farewell, 79, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021. She was born to the late Carlton and Elizabeth (Huff) Roberts. She graduated from Enfield High School, Class of 1959. April was married to William LaBombard, Sr. They had two children. She was later married to George H. Farewell. She had worked at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for 15 plus years in the Pathology Dept. before retiring. She was a member of The Grange the Pomona Grange, and the Union Church in Enfield Center, NH. She enjoyed sewing, camping, genealogy, animals, and was known for her fudge.

She is survived by her son, William “Bill” LaBombard, Jr. (Jeanie Patch); four stepchildren, Cindy Carbone (Bobby), Sue Farewell (Ray Chaffee), Tim Farewell (Candy) and Kathy Southland (Ken); a brother, David Roberts; two grandchildren, Holly Smith (Doug) and Harry Nostrant; two great-grandchildren, Lyndsey and Logan Smith; and many step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Nostrant, and her second husband, George Farewell.

Family and friends are invited to April’s calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home, 56 School Street Lebanon, NH on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 1 to 3 and then again 5 to 7. Social distancing and wearing a mask is required. A graveside service will be announced in the Spring.
