LEBANON, NH — Diana J. Lyndes, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 6, 2021 at the Jack Byrne Center surrounded by her family.
Diana was born on December 1, 1931 in Lincoln, NH to Azarias and Beatrice Corbeil. She married Richard ‘Sarge’ Lyndes on January 19, 1952. They lived in Massachusetts, Germany, and Virginia before moving back and settling in Lebanon, NH.
Her love for children led her to run a daycare center out of her home for many years. She also worked as a hairdresser and worked at the jewelry counter at the Rockdale store.
She loved snowmobiling, camping, attending the VFW dances, and playing bingo. Her retirement was spent at the pool in Lake Wales, Florida, playing cards, knitting, crocheting, and watching the game show network.
Diana was predeceased by her son, Frank Lyndes, in 1998, her husband in 2012, her parents, and sister. She is survived by her daughter, Janet St. Pierre, and her husband, Peter; her son, Jeff Lyndes, and his wife, Angell; granddaughter, Tracy Farrell, and her husband, Charlie; granddaughter, Frankie Lyndes; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, Justin, Kourtney, and Trevyr; a great grandson, Jonathan Farrell; her brother, Louis Corbeil; and many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at DHMC, the VNA visiting nurses, and all of the staff at the Jack Byrne Center for taking such good care of Diana.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, NH from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Funeral Services and Burial will be announced at a later date.
