LEBANON, NH — Dorothy Emond, 85 of Lebanon NH, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Hanover Terrace Health and Rehab Center.

Born Anita Dorothy Coll, she was the daughter of the late Albert O. Coll and Bertha (Martel) Coll.

Dorothy was a graduate of Pembroke Academy, class of 1953. A woman of many talents, she wore several hats throughout the years. In her early years she was employed at Vet’s Spa in Suncook, Pandora in Manchester, Howard Johnson’s in Hooksett, and as a cake decorator out of her home. As her children grew older she worked for the Allenstown School Department as a Bus Driver and did bookkeeping for several businesses including Grand Union Supermarket in Suncook and retiring from New Hampshire College in Manchester. Her most cherished titles were wife and mother. She was the loving wife of the late Maurice Emond for 51 years and mother to Susan, Edward, Bernard and Diane. She tirelessly cared and advocated for her son Bernard until his passing in 2018.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Maurice Emond, son, Bernard Emond and sister, Gertrude Croteau.

She is survived by her children Susan Rice and her partner Ann Doherty of Rockland, MA; Edward Emond and his wife Teresa Dobbins of Lebanon, NH; and Diane Mulholland and her husband Shaun of Lebanon, NH: her Grandchildren Beth Milligan, Kristin Davis, Jonathan Rice, Amy Bevilacqua and David Demers Jr.: ten great grandchildren, Reghan, Hank and Brecken Milligan; Peighton and Kyleigh Davis; Mia and Sonny Bevilacqua; Nick, Brad and Lexy Rice. She is also survived by her Brother Robert Coll and his wife Betsy, her sister Patricia Bowen, Sisters-in-law Lorraine Fredyma and Ann Emond, and brother in law Hector Emond Jr., and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
