VACAVILLE, CA — Antoine (Tony) P. Chaloux, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Nov 11, 2020, at his home in Vacaville, CA. He was born Sept. 4, 1949, in Hanover, NH, the son of Gerard E. Chaloux, Sr. and Gloria B. (Gawalt) Chaloux.
Tony graduated from Lebanon High School in 1967. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the US Air Force. He served with pride and honor, retiring after 22 years of service. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for missions over Southeast Asia. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he continued to serve his country by becoming a Flight Engineer Instructor.
He is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Gloria; daughters Stefanie (Louis) Adams, Jennifer Chaloux and a son, Daniel Chaloux. He is also survived by his mother, Gloria of Lebanon, NH; brothers: Gerard E. Chaloux, Jr. (Judith) of Framingham, MA; John Chaloux of Grantham, NH; Joseph Chaloux (Elaine) of Granby, MA; Theodore Chaloux (Brenda) of Russell, MA; his sisters: Theresa Ryea (Brian) of Grantham, NH; Mary Battis (Bruce) of Grantham, NH; Bernadette Hoisington (David) of Grantham, NH and Laura Wilshire (Shane) of Springfield, NH. He is survived by his grandchildren Kaila, Daniel, Lana and Connor. He is also survived by a special cousin, Peggy Madore (Walt) of Enfield, NH; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his father, his brother, Wilfrid, paternal and maternal grandparents along with many aunts and uncles.
He will be laid to rest in the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery with full military honors. McCune Garden Chapel in Vacaville is handling the arrangements.
