THETFORD — Residents overwhelmingly approved a $3.94 million road bond on a 1,058-524 vote on Election Day.
The bond will pay for work to reclaim, add base gravel, repave and overlay a 3-mile section of Route 132, running from the Norwich town line to Tucker Hill Road.
Work is expected to start next year. The 15-year bond will cost the owner of a $250,000 home in Thetford about $187 a year.
