LEBANON, NH — Natalie Jane Courtemanche Daigle, of Lebanon NH, passed into eternity on October 10, 2020. Born August 27, 1940, the fourth daughter of Ernest and Beatrice Courtemanche, she attended Sacred Heart School, graduating in 1958 from Lebanon High School. At the age of 19, she married her devoted husband of 61 years, Robert K. Daigle, Jr. They raised four children, Judi Daigle, Lori Daigle Mather, Jayne Daigle Jones and Kevin Daigle. She was a proud Mom, who, with Bob, spent many hours enjoying the musical, dramatic and sporting events in which their children participated. This enjoyment continued as she became the proud Grandmother of 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, who she adored. Nothing made her happier than family gatherings when everyone was together.
While raising her family, Natalie worked in finance most notably at Mascoma Bank and Dartmouth College. She enjoyed her professional life, but most important was caring for her family and living her Faith.
A devout Roman Catholic, Natalie lived for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. She found her strength in prayer, and knew the power of the Holy Rosary. Even when struggling with Alzheimer’s, she found her hope in the Resurrection.
Natalie was predeceased by her parents and her oldest sister Maxine. She is survived by her sisters, Fay and Barbara, her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Words cannot express the gratitude and love the family holds for the staff at Genesis-Lebanon Center. The loving care given to Natalie and the family was a true blessing. Thanks also to Bayada for providing much needed support that eased Natalie’s passing.
Due to COVID restrictions, family and friends are invited to Natalie’s graveside service at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lebanon, NH on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 11:30 AM.
