Knowing the nefarious plans of President Donald Trump and his minions to first discredit and then nullify mail-in ballots, I have decided to vote in person in order to ensure that my vote is counted. I urge all good citizens to do the same.
I am confident that reasonable safeguards such a wearing a mask will sufficiently protect me from COVID-19 at the polling station. What risk there may be is worth it.
Upon joining the Marine Corps and then serving two tours of duty in Vietnam, I took an oath to defend my country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I intend to honor that oath in these perilous times. I believe that now is the time for all good men (and women) to come to the aid of their country and defeat the domestic forces attempting to subvert the rule of law.
Vote, and vote in person on Nov. 3. We can overwhelm the red mirage with a blue tsunami.

There’s a newcomer running in the district that includes Chelsea, Vershire, Corinth, Washington, Williamstown and Orange. Her name is Kate MacLean.
She’s young and energetic and has gotten to know her community through selectboard and other volunteer work. She knows the people, she knows the issues and she knows how to listen. She runs a working small livestock farm, where she faces many of the same challenges as her prospective constituents. She tries hard to serve their needs, and has proved herself pretty good at it. I’d rather send her to Montpelier than some of the asleep-at-the-desk perennial officeholders accustomed to mailing it in. Some fresh, strong voices up there wouldn’t hurt a bit.

I am running for reelection as state representative from Newbury and New London. For more than 50 years I have worked with you in a variety of roles to find solutions to our common problems, to seek ways to improve our communities, and to provide a better education for our children.
How do we improve our world when we will not even listen to those who have a different view, or who have a party designation after their name that is not one that we support? When our discourse is limited to only those who agree with our thoughts, how do we find what may be a different or even a better method to accomplish the objective?
If we are to end the divisiveness which exists today, we cannot all listen to the same podcast or watch the same news show. We must not remain only in our own silos.
Over the last four years in the House of Representatives I have worked across the aisle. I have reached out to those who may not agree with me. Just because my friend is not your friend, this not reason to reject me.
Even if your political views are different than mine, I will still reach out to you to work to improve our world. I stand proudly on my record of voting for the best interests of Newbury and New London, not the wishes of one party or the other.
I believe that I am the only candidate who will cross party lines to fight for the issues that matter to our community. A vote for me will be a vote in the right direction to end the partisanship in New Hampshire and to show that we can work together. Vote for Dan Wolf, the person who will continue to stand up for the issues that matter to you, regardless of party affiliation.

I am supporting Larry Satcowitz for state representative for Braintree, Brookfield, Granville, Randolph and Roxbury, and I think you should too.
While we are lucky to have many qualified candidates, I think his experience and his character make him the best person for this job.
He cares about the issues that matter the most to me, urgent issues such as dealing with climate change and rooting out the systemic racism that is disproportionately affecting Vermonters of color. He understands, at a personal level and a professional level, that education and health care are two cornerstone topics that we need to gain more traction on as a state.
His work as a Randolph Selectboard member has been beneficial, not just because of the work he has done with the water, budget, and recreation committees, but also in his communication of local governance issues in other public forums.
I know more about how Randolph works because of the work he has done. I think he is thoughtful, intelligent, even-handed and has enough stamina for the work ahead for our government.
Ballots have been mailed out. I hope you vote, and I hope you vote for Larry Satcowitz.

I am writing in support of Ray Gagnon for Sullivan County commissioner for District 1.
I’ve known him for almost 40 years. He has served this community proudly for decades in many different roles, including as mayor, city councilor, and on many different boards and commissions over the years. You will not find a better advocate for Claremont.
He has years of experience and knowledge that will bring a fresh perspective to the Sullivan County Commission. I urge you all to cast your vote to my friend, Ray Gagnon. You will not be disappointed.
