HANOVER, NH — Jane Clausen Drorbaugh died peacefully on September 6, 2020 in Hanover, New Hampshire. She was born on November 15, 1929 in New Rochelle, New York to Charles and Carolyn Clausen. She graduated Northfield Mount Herman School in 1947 and received a BA from Hollins College in 1951. After college, she worked for The Architects Collaborative (TAC) including Walter Gropius, lived abroad in Rome and traveled to Baghdad, Iraq where he was building The University of Baghdad. In 1972, she married William Colt Drorbaugh and lived in Rye, New York until his death in 1985. Jane loved to choral music, gardening and traveling the world. She is survived by her twin sister, Joan Vander Vliet of Bedford, Massachusetts and many nieces and nephews.
