NEWPORT — Police are looking for two men who went missing from Newport after a motorcycle ride Monday afternoon, according to a news release from the Newport Police Department.
Jerry Proper, 69, and his grandson, Cody Pillsbury, 22, left Newport around 2 p.m. Monday, the release said. They were riding a Honda GL18R1 Trike motorcycle with New Hampshire license plates and didn’t have a set destination, according to the release.
Police said Proper is “an avid rider” and that he frequently travels through the Lakes Region and western New Hampshire on his motorcycle.
Police learned the men were missing Tuesday morning and they had not been found by Wednesday morning, according to police.
