CLAREMONT, NH — David Edward Dubeau, 29, of Claremont passed away unexpectedly on August 4th , 2020. David was born on September 17th 1990 in Lebanon, New Hampshire. David is survived by his mother, Lori (McIntier) Dubeau of Plainfield, NH, his sister Heather Dubeau of Arizona, his brother, Richard Dubeau of Lebanon, NH, his niece, Summer Stone of Lebanon, NH, his Aunt Olivia and Uncle Greg of New London, NH, the rest of his loving family, his racing family and his beloved dog, Riley. He was predeceased by his father, Michael Dubeau, as well as his stepfather, David Hollinger.
David had a kind heart and was very generous and patient with those he loved. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School. David was ambitious and self-reliant, owning his own business, Dubeau’s Distribution, which was established in 2016. He also recently purchased his own home and we all joked “what will you do with all those bedrooms?” His response was “fill it with racing trophies.”
David and his best friend and brother, Rich, began racing at a young age under the guidance of their stepdad. David loved racing on the dirt track at Canaan Speedway and earned enough trophies to fill up the room in his new house. David’s mechanically gifted mind along with his passion and dedication contributed to his renowned success in racing. After their stepdad lost his battle with cancer, David, as was his nature, gave up driving to become his brother’s Crew Chief and spotter for the #30 car. After many successful years of racing, David, Rich and their team advanced to the American Canadian Tour in 2015. David was well respected in the racing community and was voted Crew Chief of the Year in 2018. He went on to lead the team to the ACT Championship in 2019.
Aside from racing, David most enjoyed spending time with his brother, snowmobiling, tubing, and hanging out with the German Shepherds they adopted together last year. David was exceedingly kind and would often go out of his way to help others. In spite of his many successes David was happiest out of the spotlight.
David was a dedicated son who was always there for his mom, taking care of anything she needed done around the house. He was also a dedicated Dad to his faithful dog, Riley, whom he loved endlessly.
David is one of the good guys gone way too soon. He lived his life to the fullest and we hope he is fully aware of all the love and joy he brought to so many. This will help to explain the giant whole that we will try to fill with our cherished memories.
Services for David will be private for immediate family only. A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later time. An online guest book is available to leave a message of condolence for David’s family by visiting www.rickerfuneralhome.com.
