CLAREMONT, NH — Edward Richard Paige, 71, passed at his home in Claremont, NH Wednesday, July 15, 2020 after battling cancer for more than 3 years. He was born in Boston, MA on December 27, 1948 to Margaret Marcella (Gentile) and Anthony Peter Paige. He married Maureen (Place) Paige in Claremont, NH on August 13, 2005.
Edward studied at Newbury Junior College and was employed as an Electrician at Raytheon for 29 years. He served as a Construction Electrician in the U.S. Navy from 1969-70 during the Vietnam War.
In his free time, Edward enjoyed fishing, boating, reading, porch-sitting, and listening to his many radios. He collected tools and loved “puttering” on cars. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with his grandkids.
Edward is survived by his wife, Maureen Paige of Claremont, NH; daughter, Noelle (Tom) McLain of Haverhill, MA; sons, Edward (girlfriend, Jennifer Healy) Paige of Tewkesbury, MA and Patrick (girlfriend, Lauren Campeau) Paige of Plymouth, MA; stepdaughters, Megan (fiance, Matthew White) Young of Springfield, VT and Melissa (Jeffrey) Stocker of Grantham, NH; sister, Marcia Kowalski of Malvern, PA; brother, Anthony (girlfriend, Gail Dwyer) Paige of Winthrop, MA; grandchildren, Emily McLain, Callie McLain, Jaxson Paige, and Julie McLain; nephews, John (Tara) Kowalski and Matthew (Kathleen) Kowalski of Pennsylvania; and several great nieces and nephews.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Margaret Paige of Boston, MA, and brother, Robert Paige.
Due to COVID-19, private services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 for Edward’s family.
