ENFIELD — A 27-year-old man died after his car went off the road in Enfield late Friday night.
Cory Keane, of Grafton, was driving southbound on Route 4A near Foster Circle around 11:30 p.m. when his car crossed over the center line and went off the road, according to Enfield Police Chief Roy Holland.
The Toyota Corolla hit an embankment and a tree, and Keane was thrown from the car, Holland said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A person who was at a home nearby called police after hearing the crash, Holland said.
Police are still investigating what caused the car to go off of the road and whether drugs or alcohol may have played a role in the crash, Holland said.
