HANOVER — The League of N.H. Craftsmen is closing its longtime fine craft gallery on Lebanon Street in Hanover.

But the Concord nonprofit will continue to offer its CraftStudies studio programming, including summer camp and classes for all ages, at the Hanover location.

“Due to the changing retail environment in the Hanover community, which altered the face of the downtown area in recent years, we have made this difficult decision,” the League said in a news release on Tuesday. The gallery had been in Hanover since the 1940s.

The League continues to run galleries in the New Hampshire communities of Center Sandwich, Concord, Hooksett, Littleton, Meredith, Nashua and North Conway.
