NORWICH — A section of River Road will be closed next week as the Vermont Agency of Transportation reconstructs a rail-highway crossing near Route 5.
The work is scheduled to begin Monday, and signs and detour routes will be put in place. Officials said workers will continue access for emergency vehicles.
The project is expected to be completed by Friday, according to a Listserv post from Norwich Police Chief Jennifer Frank.
