BRADFORD, VT — Gaye Morgan passed away at her Bradford, Vermont home on the night of Sunday April 26th 2020.

Gaye was born in the spring of 1951 as the youngest of four children to Earl and Marjorie Pape in West Fairlee, Vermont. Gaye attended grade school in West Fairlee and high school at the Bradford Academy graduating in the class of 1969. She married Donald Morgan in 1975 and the two of them operated the Colatina Exit restaurant in Bradford before opening the Colatina Bakery in that year. They would go on to have two children; Jonathan and Jessica. Gaye was very active with volunteer work with the Bradford Elementary School, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and many other activities of her children’s childhood.

All who knew Gaye remember her warm heart, kindness, and quick wit. She loved nature’s precious gifts of flowers, birds, and animals. She treasured watching her grandchildren grow and found joy in spending time with her family and friends.

Gaye is survived by her husband Donald Morgan, son Jonathan Morgan, daughter Jessica Lewis, and stepson Thomas Morgan. She is also survived by her three siblings Gail Drysdale, Gary Pape, and Glee Marchand, as well as her grandchildren Elizabeth Lewis, Jillian Lewis, Andrew Morgan, Neicsi Morgan, and Suzie Morgan. Memorial services will be postponed until a later date.
