WARREN, NH — Thomas John Fortune, 61, of Poplar Place, died following a brief illness at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Thomas was born in Claremont, NH on April 16, 1959 to John “Bud” and Polly (Parks) Fortune.

He owned Clean Windows Plus and worked as a window washer for over 30 years.

Thomas was an avid New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and NASCAR fan. For many years, he served as crew chief for his cousin, Rob French, and the #46 French’s Motorsports racing team at the racetracks in Canaan and Rumney winning 1 championship. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his life partner, Kathy Enderson of Warren; his mother, Polly Fortune-Garceau of Newport, NH; two brothers, Glenn Fortune and wife Sandi of Honolulu, HI and Dennis Bundy and wife Heidi of Lebanon, NH; a special cousin, Rob French of Grafton, NH; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father, John “Bud” Fortune.

A memorial service will be planned for later this year.

Burial will be at a future date in the Gilkey Cemetery, Stage Road, Plainfield, NH.
