WEST LEBANON, NH — Yvette C. Pelton, 94, passed away at Genesis-Lebanon Center on Saturday March 7, 2020. She was born to the late Emile & Lydia (Descoteau) LaPlante. She grew up in Claremont where she attended schools and began working at a young age. She was married to Robert N. Pelton on June 19, 1943. She had worked for Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital for many years before retiring.
Yvette enjoyed reading, tending to her flower beds, feeding the birds, camping and visits to the ocean. She is survived by her two children Glenn & Debra Pelton of Norridgewock, Maine and Susan Douglas of Hillsboro, two grandchildren, Ryan (Lauren) and daughters Ryleigh, Lucille and Scarlett of Norridgewock, Maine, and Benjamin (Rachael) and daughters Braelyn, Rosalie and son Gideon (due in April) of Waterville, Maine, and a niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Pelton, three siblings Emile LaPlante, Antoinette Dodier and Regina Carrerio, and a son in law Robert Douglas.
Family and friends are invited to Yvette’s graveside service on Saturday March 21st at 1 PM at the West Lebanon Cemetery. Yevette will not be having calling hours or a funeral.
