DORCHESTER — Selectboard member Amber Barsaleau, who was previously appointed to the post, held off two challengers in Australian ballot voting on Tuesday. She won 51 votes for the three-year seat, to 37 for former Selectman John Franz and 13 for Adrienne Morrison.
Selectboard Chairman Sherman Hallock was unopposed for a one-year seat.
At the floor meeting on Saturday morning, residents will take up the $476,975 municipal operating budget proposal.
They are also being asked to accept two deeds of land on the south side of Route 118 from William and Marianne Maloney.
