ORANGE, NH — Nathaniel “Skip” Albert Emerson III, 65, passed suddenly on the 11th of February, 2020 at his home in Orange, NH. He was born in Hanover, NH on September 20, 1954 to Elsie May and Nathaniel Emerson, Jr. Skip and Pauline Jane Emerson (Dube) were married for 42 years. He was employed with Timken Aerospace for 35 years. He was a passionate resident of Orange, NH and he was very involved in the community. He loved tinkering with his old tractors and spending time with his family.

Skip was an avid photographer and life-long rail fan, having been a member of the Boston & Maine Railroad Historical Society since 1973. He was working on the history of the Town of Orange, NH. He loved watching birds in his many bird houses and trying new recipes.

Skip is survived by his loving and lifelong wife, Pauline; son, Nathaniel “Scooter” Emerson IV and his partner, Hannah; daughter, Emilie; dog, Tucker; cat, Norman; and 3 grand cats: Nox, Lumos, and Tonks.

A Celebration of life will be held in Orange, NH in the warmer months.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on his behalf to the Bernie Sanders campaign, Town of Orange, or the Upper Valley Humane Society.
