CANAAN, NH — Peter Howard Hagen, 77, passed away peacefully at his home January 18, 2020 surrounded by family. He was born August 29, 1942 in Boston, MA to Helen (Babcock) and William Forrest Hagen. He graduated from Central High School in Manchester, NH and attended Plymouth State College. Peter wore many hats but was best known as a General Contractor.
Peter was a member of the Lions Club in Littleton, NH for almost 28 years and the Masons-Eastern Star. He also volunteered with the New Haven Fire Department in New Haven, CT. In his spare-time he enjoyed reading mysteries, building models, creating glass-box nightlights, and model railroading.
Peter is survived by his children, daughter, Lisa and her husband Scott Senecal of Lisbon, NH, daughter, Traci Clough and her partner Gary Searles of Canaan, NH, son, Kris and his wife Sasha Hagen of Northfield, VT, and daughter, Katrina Hagen of Brattleboro, VT; former wives, Linda Hagen of Canaan, NH and Ruby Hagen of Haverhill, NH; grandson, Antony Clough of Canaan, NH; 7 other grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 3 nephews.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lawrence Hagen of Green Valley, AZ; and grandson, Michael Kelley of Claremont, NH.
No services are planned at this time.
