ENFIELD, NH — Robert L. Jordan Sr. of Enfield, NH, passed away on January 10th at age 92. Robert, known mostly as Bob and by some as Yogi, was the son of Christopher and Dorothy Jordan of Etna, NH. He was predeceased by all of his siblings.
Bob was a man with a playful spirit and a great sense of humor. He was a gentle and humble soul. Bob started as an iceman, delivering blocks of ice door to door back in the mid 1940s. During this time he met his future wife, Annette Audette, who took great pride in picking on this bashful man with all her girlfriends. It was love at first sight, and a marriage that spanned over 69 years. Annette and Robert had children Robert, Richard, Roy, Rip, Robin and Roberta. He is the grandfather of nine and great grandfather to 13.
Bob was a man who loved to make people laugh. He was a self taught musician and a character to the end. Bob was proud of his service as Technical Corporal in the U. S. Army during World War II. He spent most of his career as a truck driver, culminating his career helping with the construction of the Seabrook Nuclear Plant.
In retirement Bob looked forward to his daily jaunts for coffee and snacks with is best friend, Raymo Berube, watching Westerns and camping with Annette. As you reminisce, remember him as he was at his most playful moments. His kind heart and sense of humor will forever be his legacy.

Family and friends are invited to Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday, January 15th, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for Bob’s calling hour. Beginning at 1:00 p.m. will be Bob’s memorial service with a reception to follow. No date has been set for spring burial and military honors.
