SOUTH ROYALTON, VT — Joshua Brian Williams, age 35, passed away at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center January 6, 2020, following an accident while at work on New Year’s Day. Josh was born October 2, 1984 in New Smyrna Beach, FL to Melanie (Griffin) and Jack Williams. He was raised in Florida, but moved to the Upper Valley about 10 years ago to work and be closer to his father and brother.
Josh was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms. He worked hard and played hard. Josh made friends easily and those friendships were very important to him.
Josh is survived by his daughter, Summer Williams; parents, Melanie Williams and Jack (Tammy) Williams; brother, Jeremy Williams; grandfather, Phil Williams; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maxine Williams.
Because of Josh’s love for animals and his dogs, his family suggests that memorial donations in his name be made to the Upper Valley Humane Society, 300 Old Route 10, Enfield, NH 03748.
Per Josh’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Through his generous donation of organs and tissue other lives will go on. His cremated remains will be scattered in Florida.
