WEST LEBANON, NH — Denise Martin, 68, peacefully passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019, at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH, surrounded by family. Denise was born on February 7, 1951, to Doris Cook White and Armond White of Lebanon, NH. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard from Plainfield; a brother, Stephen White; her mother, Doris; and her father Armond.

Denise lived and went to school in Lebanon. She graduated from Sacred Heart School in 1965 and Lebanon High School in 1969. She went to work at Dartmouth College on June 30, 1969. Denis loved horses and had two at her home on Payne Road in Lebanon. Denise married Richard Martin from Plainfield, NH, in 1975. She lived in Lebanon all of her married life.

Dartmouth College was the employer of choice for Denise for 42 1/2 years, where she retired in January of 2012.

Denise loved her family comprised of husband, Richard, their son, Timothy and daughter-in-law, Tina Martin. She was a great reader and lover of books and her Kindle. She also had many hobbies. She did needlework, ceramics, built dollhouses. She donated several dollhouses to local charities. She was interested in interior design and drawing and took several classes at Lebanon College. Her latest hobby was landscape painting. She took lots of classes through the Mascoma Savings Bank.

Denise is survived by her son Tim and daughter-in-law Tina; and aunts, uncles and other in-laws.
