LEBANON, NH — It is with great sorrow, that the family of Barbara L. Biathrow, 84, announce her passing, on December 6th, in her home, with her family, who loved her with all their hearts, by her side.

Barbara was born in Meredith, NH, on March 23, 1935. The daughter of James Downing and Clara (Baker) Downing. Barbara moved to Lebanon, NH in 1961, to work for CRREL, which she retired from in 1997.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, of 55 years, Burton H. Biathrow, in March 2018, and her son Matthew B. Biathrow, in November of 2018. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Caroline J. Biathrow-Sumner, and her son, Clifford R. Biathrow, and a daughter-in-law, Denise (Deery) Biathrow.

Loveliest of Trees

Loveliest of trees, the cherry now

Is hung with bloom along the bough,

And stands about the woodland ride

Wearing white for Eastertide.

Now, of my three score years and ten,

Twenty will not come again,

And take from seventy springs a score,
