RANDOLPH, VT — Dorothy P. Carr passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 of natural causes.
She worked at Waterbury Plastics and GW Plastics for many years. She loved gardening, knitting, watching baseball, helping out at the Randolph Senior Center and spending time with family and friends. She always made it a point to stay active and upbeat and was well loved by her family, friends, and the community. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Dorothy is survived by her children Edith Heath and her husband, Jere; Dennis Ives and his wife, Elaine; Barbara Ives; Phillips Carr Jr. and his wife, Gwendolyn. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren (11 boys and 1 girl) along with 17 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Phillips Carr Sr. and children Michael Ives, Bruce Ives, and Sylvia Chandler.
There will be public calling hours on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the Boardway and Cilley Funeral Home, 300 VT RT 110 in Chelsea, VT. A private graveside service will take place at a later date at the River View Cemetery in South Royalton, VT.
