“My Winter World,” acrylic and watercolor paintings by artist Kate Reeves, of Barnard, opens Wednesday at Tunbridge Public Library. A reception is planned for 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17. Reeves will give a brief talk about her work at 3 p.m. Through Feb. 18.

Windsor artist Amy Hook-Therrien is among the artists with work in “I am …”, a multi-media exhibition in the Vermont Arts Council’s Spotlight Gallery in Montpelier that tackles the question of what it means to be a Vermont artist. The show opens with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday evening and is on view through Dec. 20.

The Aidron Duckworth Art Museum has closed, but is holding a tag sale to clean out its former Meriden schoolhouse from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays starting this weekend and running through Nov. 24. The sale includes many of Aidron Duckworth’s personal effects, from furniture to books to tools and art work he’d collected. Duckworth’s work, which is held by a trust he set up before his death in 2001, is not for sale.
