LEBANON — A 31-year-old Enfield man pleaded not guilty on Monday to three misdemeanors that allege he exposed himself on the Northern Rail Trail in Enfield. Police arrested Nathan Glazier in August and cited him into court on three counts of indecent exposure/gross lewdness. His arrest followed an investigation that started when two women reported seeing a man masturbating on the side of the rail trail between Main Street and Route 4A, Enfield Police Chief Roy Holland said previously. Christopher R. O’Connor, an attorney with the Lower Grafton County Prosecutorial Association, confirmed Glazier appeared in Lebanon district dourt on Monday. The date of Glazier’s next court hearing wasn’t immediately available.Glazier remains out on conditions of release, O’Connor said.
CONCORD — New Hampshire health authorities say they’ve identified the first person in the state with a lung injury associated with electronic cigarette use. The state’s Division of Public Health Services said the person is an adult from Sullivan County who developed respiratory symptoms and had chest imaging showing evidence of lung injury. This person reported recent vaping of nicotine products. The division said the individual was hospitalized, but has since been discharged.
As of Oct. 1, there are 1,080 lung injury cases reported from 48 states and 1 U.S. territory. Of these, 18 deaths have been confirmed in 15 states. Massachusetts announced one death today. All reported patients have a history of e-cigarette/vaping product use. Symptoms of vaping-related lung injuries include cough, shortness of breath or chest pain. Some patients have also experienced nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or abdominal pain.
RUTLAND, Vt. — The Vermont Public Utility Commission has reached an agreement with Comcast to continue to allow the company to be a cable television provider in the state, while offering benefits for local cable access channels.
For any cable provider to operate inside Vermont they must have a Certificate of Public Good, which must be renewed every 10 years. A renewal requires the support of local stations.
Among the requirements for Comcast is the construction of at least 350 miles of new cable line and preservation of existing public, educational and government remote origin sites.
