ENFIELD, NH — Patti Ann Charbono, age 65, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. She was born in Barre, VT August 19, 1954 to Norma E. (Taplin) and Paul H. Libercent. Patti attended Spaulding High School in Barre before graduating from Hazen Union in Hardwick, VT in 1972. She studied nursing at the Fannie Allen School of Nursing in Burlington, VT and worked as an LPN. After a long-distance courtship Patti married her best friend and buddy, Donald Charbono in DeLand, FL March 25, 2012. After their marriage Patti retired from nursing.
Patti was a natural born caregiver. She enjoyed Bluegrass and Country music and playing her guitar. Patti loved fishing Mascoma Lake and soaking in the warm Florida weather with Donald. She loved to garden and grew flowers and vegetables. Patti loved to cook and always enjoyed a fine glass of wine.
Patti is survived by her loving husband, Donald Charbono of Enfield, NH; sisters, Paula Libercent of Norwich, VT, Pam Hammond of Lebanon, NH, and Penny Libercent of Burlington, VT; stepchildren, Dana Charbono of Pike, NH, Matt Charbono of Grafton, NH, and Janel Hartman of Ooltawah, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Patti was so well loved in the community and through her work that she will be missed by so many friends.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Paul Libercent.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Countryside Cemetery in Enfield, NH.
