TUNBRIDGE, VT — Blanche E. Fisk, 91, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin, VT.

She was born March 24, 1928 in South Royalton, VT the daughter of Lee and Daisy (Preston) Moses. She attended grade school in South Royalton and later South Royalton High School.

On December 24, 1945 she married Wayne E. Fisk of Tunbridge. They made their home in Tunbridge, where they raised their two daughters. Wayne died May 1, 1977.

Blanche had worked at Eaton’s Cloth Dryer Factory in South Royalton, VT, H.W. Carter in Lebanon, NH, G.W. Plastics in Bethel, VT, Dan Wesson’s in Bethel, VT, Progressive Plastics in Randolph and at the Tunbridge Fairgrounds.

She was a past member of the D.A.R., Tunbridge Ladies Aid, and the Tunbridge Congregational Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, doing puzzles and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Darla) Allen and Mrs. Stanley (Janice) Capron all of Bethel, VT, four grandchildren, Pam (Gerry) Brown, Sherry (Dennis) Lewis all of Bethel, VT, Shane (Sarah) Capron of Essex, VT and Stacey Capron of Windsor Locks, CT, six great grandchildren Matt, Jasmine, Krista, Dylan, Leah and Sadie, a great great grandchild, Nauvia and her companion of many years Edward (Skee) Barnaby of Tunbridge.

There will be no public calling hours. A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2pm in the Village Cemetery in Tunbridge, VT with Pastor Tom Harty officiating.
