HANOVER — A former captain of the Hanover High School Quiz Bowl team is going to be on Jeopardy this week.
Gabe Brison-Trezise, a 2012 Hanover High graduate who now works as a researcher in Washington, D.C., will appear on Thursday’s episode, the program said. Under the rules of the syndicated program, he’s not allowed to say in advance how he fared. But Brison-Trezise has extensive experience with quiz competitions.
He was captain of the Quiz Bowl team while at Hanover High and led the team to consecutive state championship victories.
After graduating from Kenyon College in 2016, Brison-Trezise helped coach the Quiz Bowl team at Hanover High, where he also served as the adviser for the student newspaper, the Broadside.
Brison-Trezise, the son of a Dartmouth College professor, also has worked as a freelance correspondent for the Valley News.
