CANAAN, NH — Robert P. Hewes, 72, passed away Monday September 2nd. He was born in Hanover, NH to the late Victor G. & Ona E. (Jillson) Hewes. He grew up in Plainfield, NH and graduated from Lebanon High School, class of 1965. Following graduation, he enlisted in the US Army where he served as a diesel mechanic. Bob held various jobs over the years, but his heart was in farming and animals. He enjoyed his family, friends and hunting.
He is survived by his two daughters Brenda Hewes Bonnie Handt, his two sons, Wayne Hewes and Jason Hewes, his Siblings Gordon Hewes, Cheryl Mills, Gene Hewes, Ona Chase and Vicki LeCain, nine grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
