CANAAN, NH — Nancy Louise Trussell, age 72, passed away peacefully Friday, August 23, 2019 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with her entire family at her bedside. She was born February 23, 1947 at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon to Esther May (Goodwin) and Isaac Tyson Truman, Jr. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1965 and married Larry John Trussell at the Justice of the Peace in Wilder, VT on December 19, 1966. Nancy worked as a secretary at Dartmouth College and retired from the Tuck School Administration Office in 2007.

Nancy truly lived her life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time with her family, chatting with friends near and far, watching TV, and most of all sharing her heart with anyone she crossed paths with. Nancy was a well-loved and devoted mother and wife. Nancy raised the kids while her husband worked two full-time jobs as a construction laborer and a custodian for Dartmouth College. Nancy devoted her life to her kids. She always wanted nothing but the best for her children and grandchildren and she enjoyed watching them grow.

Nancy is survived by husband, Larry Trussell of Canaan, NH; son, John; daughter, Lisa; sister, Judy; brothers, Dicky and Micky; grandson, Travis, and his soon-to-be-wife, Katherine; and great granddaughters, Addison, Brooklynn, and Aspynn.

Family, Friends, and others whose lives she touched are welcome to her Celebration of Life at the Trussell home Saturday, September 7, 2019 from Noon-4:00 P.M. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Pine Grove Cemetery in Grafton, NH.
