LEBANON, NH — Stanley Richard Pepin, 71, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, July 27, 2019 after a short, courageous battle with Cancer, surrounded by his loving wife, Blanche, and immediate family. He was born March 24, 1948 in Newport, VT to Julien and Geneva (Francis) Pepin. Stan attended schools in Newport, VT and Quebec, Canada. Stan drove trucks for R. Lavoie, Decato Brothers in Lebanon in the 90’s, and Sunflower as well as Potter Construction and Evarts Sawmill. Stan was also a self-employed logger.

Stan was cared for at home by the love of his life Blanche, brother Mike, stepdaughter Barbara, and sister-in-law Marion Thornton.

Stan is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Blanche; his two Maltese dogs, Fergie and Olivia; stepdaughters, Brenda (Rick) Cheney of Port Henry, NY, Becky Rahe of Hooksett, NH, and Barbara (Dick) Welch of Lebanon, NH; brothers, Mike Pepin of Creston, Newfoundland and Barry Pepin of Cormwell, Ontario; sister, Nancy (Urban) Leclare of Lennoxville, Quebec; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Stan also leaves behind dear and close friends, Bob and Maurie Swartz of Grantham, NH, Jim Landau of Claremont, NH, and Art of Springfield, VT.

Stan was predeceased by his parents; stepson, Robert “Bobby” Merrill; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Philip and Dot Gomez.

Per Stan’s wishes there will be no Calling Hours or Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stan’s name may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, P.O. Box 976, White River Junction, VT 05001.
