BARNARD, VT — Nancy Oppenheimer Richardson, 66, of Barnard, died Friday night, July 26, 2019 at her home.

She was born February 24, 1953 in Trenton, NJ; the daughter of William and Eleanor (Marhold) Oppenheimer. She was raised in Rahway, NJ and graduated from Rahway High School in 1971. She worked as a dental assistant until moving to Bethel Gilead in 1982. She soon married Lee “Rick” Richardson Jr. on May 22, 1983 in Bethel Gilead where they moved that year. Nancy had worked as a screen printer for Porcupine Graphics in Barnard and at Mac’s Market in Woodstock. She enjoyed rock and roll, trips to the Jersey shore, travelling to Florida, and spending time with her family, many close friends and especially her grandson Charlee. She was a lifelong Yankees fan like her dad.

Survivors include her husband Lee “Rick” Richardson Jr. of Barnard; daughter Ellie Joy Richardson Dillon and her husband Chuck Jr. of Pt. Pleasant, NJ; one grandson.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, August 3rd at the Old Christ Church Cemetery, Route 12 at Bethel Gilead Road in Bethel, with Pastor Thomas Harty officiating.
