NEW LONDON — Police have identified the three individuals killed in a car crash on Interstate 89 in New London on Sunday.

Sharon Nowrocki, 44, of West Roxbury, Mass., was traveling with Angelo Rossi, 57, and Kelly Rossi, 56, both of Roslindale, Mass., when their vehicle overturned around 11:30 a.m. just north of Exit 12 in New London.

Police are still trying to identify who was operating the vehicle at the time of the crash. All three individuals were ejected; none of them were wearing seatbelts, State Police said in a news release.

The investigation indicates another vehicle may have merged into the left hand lane in front of the Nowrocki and Rossi vehicle, causing the driver to swerve and lose control. The vehicle rolled over several times.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call Trooper Christopher Pieniazek at 603-227-0031.
