LEBANON — Officials said the cause of a fire that destroyed a detached shed at a home on Hanover Street near downtown Lebanon late Sunday afternoon likely will remain unknown.
Firefighters responded to a building fire at 122 Hanover St. around 4:45 p.m. and found the 12-by-12-foot shed “heavily involved” by fire, according to a news release from the Lebanon Fire Department.
Firefighters got the fire under control within 10 minutes and prevented it from spreading to the nearby home, but the shed was a total loss, officials said. Nobody was injured and the fire is not suspicious, said Fire Chief Chris Christopoulos in an email on Monday.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Inspector Duane Egner at 603-448-8810.
