Bruce Everett Hull – brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, friend – died on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Barnard, VT. 

Bruce was born to Eldon and Evatte (Dickinson) Hull on December 4, 1955 in Randolph, VT. He grew up on Locust Creek Farm in Barnard and was a graduate of Woodstock Union High School. He was employed by Green Mountain Pipeline (formerly Vermont Pipeline) for the last 33 years. 

Bruce enjoyed hunting for deer, rabbits, and partridge near his home in Chateauguay and fishing for horned pout at Silver Lake. He loved taking deep sea fishing trips with family and friends, and trips to Maine with his wife. Bruce also loved vegetable gardening. He grew prized parsnips, zucchini, and various squash, and loved baking pies and canning jams and jellies for friends and family. When not in his garden, Bruce could be found riding his Harley Davidson “Thunder” or relaxing on camping trips with his wife. He was an avid supporter of the Barnard Volunteer Fire Department, especially enjoying the annual spaghetti dinners and Fourth of July Barbecues. 

Bruce is survived by his wife of 29 years Laura (Henault) Hull, one daughter Heather (Jason) and one son Eldon, two granddaughters Brianna and Katrina, one grandson Matthew, and one great-granddaughter Harper. He is also survived by two brothers Gary (Deborah) and Stuart (Jayne), one sister Kelly (Tim), five nephews Aaron, Nicholas, Stuart Jr. (Kassie), John (Amanda), and Cody (Kaitlyn), and three nieces Amy (Mike), Jessica (Tyler), and Katelyn (Dana). 

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jay, and nephew Jason. 

A celebration of life is scheduled for Bruce on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 1 P.M. at the Barnard Town Hall. Donations in his name can be sent to the Barnard Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
