GRANTHAM, NH — Judith “Judy” Cashman, 72, of Eastman, NH passed away at home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 surrounded by her loving family, following a brief but hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on April 4, 1947 in Andover Massachusetts, the daughter of Harold and Harriett (Broughton) Jackson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Len. Their children, Don Cashman and his wife Sandi of Charlotte NC, and Dean Cashman and his wife Meredith of Lebanon NH. Judy has three grandchildren, Bryanna Stanton and her husband Mike of Warwick NY, Erikah Cashman and partner Chris Harmon of Charlotte, NC and Benjamin of Lebanon, NH. She also has three great-grandchildren Sam, Silas and Cameron. Her sister Brenda Timm of CT also survives her.
Judy was predeceased by her parents Harold and Harriett.
Judy married Len on September 9, 1972 in Andover, MA. They settled in Eastman in 1975, moving to Hanover in 1982 keeping residence in Eastman until moving there permanently in 2000.
Judy worked for Four Seasons Sotheby’s, formerly McLaughry Associates for the past thirty years. She was passionate about her career in real estate and enjoyed the many people she worked with and the relationships she formed over the years.
Judy enjoyed traveling to Bonita Springs, Florida with Len during the winter. Together they would golf and enjoy socializing with their many friends that they met over the past twenty years.
Family was everything to Judy. She enjoyed being involved in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives. She always enjoyed attending and supporting them in their numerous sporting and other extracurricular activities; she was always their number 1 fan.
A service and celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Friday, May 31 from 1-4:30 at the Hilton Garden Inn 35 Labombard Road in Lebanon NH.
