HARTFORD — Police say they have found a missing 85-year-old woman from Sharon.

Helen Richardson was last seen leaving her home around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. She was driving a 2017 Nissan Sentra with Vermont plates HAL 424 and was intending to meet her daughter at the VA Credit Union in White River Junction but never showed up, Hartford police said in a Facebook post.

Police issued an appeal for help earlier today, but now say she has been found and is safe.
