NORTH HAVERHILL — A 22-year-old Lebanon man charged in connection with a shooting near Dartmouth College in November has been indicted on another felony count.

Gage Young faces a second charge of falsifying physical evidence. In the indictment handed up earlier this month, Young is accused of attempting to remove or conceal the pants and/or shoes he was wearing when he allegedly shot the gun on Nov. 2.

That evening, he is accused of firing a random shot on School Street in Hanover and hitting and wounding Thomas Elliott, of Providence College. Later on that night, Young allegedly cleared the gun by firing off a round into the air near Allard’s Furniture in West Lebanon, court documents state.

Young faces several charges, including first- and second-degree assault and falsifying physical evidence for allegedly attempting to discard the firearm used in the shooting. He has pleaded not guilty to those allegations.

Young is represented by attorney Richard Guerriero, who recently took over the case after attorney Simon Mayo withdrew because of a conflict.

Young has a final pretrial hearing in the case scheduled for Wednesday morning in Grafton Superior Court in North Haverhill.
