HANOVER — The Dartmouth College women’s tennis team bounced back from a lost doubles points to roll over St. John’s, 5-2, on Sunday at the Boss Tennis Center.
After the Red Storm (3-2) defaulted sixth singles to tie the match, Dartmouth (2-3) dominated to win going away. The Big Green took the final five slots in the singles ladder, with wins from Nicole Conrad, Chuyang Guan, Jingyi Ping and Catherine Cable to go with the forfeit.
Dartmouth heads to Yale for the ECAC Indoor Championship this weekend.
HANOVER — Dartmouth dropped a decision to Louisville at the Boss Tennis Center.
The Big Green (3-2) took two of the three doubles matches for the opening point of the day but couldn’t keep the momentum going once in singles.
Charlie Broom won first singles, 6-2, 6-3, but the Cardinals (6-2) claimed victories at Nos. 2, 4, 5 and 6 for the team win.
Dartmouth visits Minnesota on Friday and Drake on Sunday.
BETHEL, Maine — The Wildcats (8-7) stayed within five points at the half and three with about 10 minutes to play before their hosts pulled away on Saturday.
Kimball Union’s Enoch Cheeks had a game-high 32 points, and Will Engelhardt added 19. The Wildcats visit Bradford Academy this afternoon.
