HARTLAND, VT — Richard Wayne Beland, 63, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at DHMC in Lebanon, NH. He was born in Claremont, NH on October 17, 1955, the son of the late Richard O. Beland and Betty R. (Ashline) Beland.
Richard attended Windsor High School, was employed at Valley Artason Well Co., and self-employed as an auto mechanic. Richard enjoyed spending time with family, woodworking, hunting, and classic cars.
He was predeceased by his daughter Melissa Elizabeth and infant daughter Stephanie Anne. He is survived by his wife Marianne; his sons, Richard Beland Jr. (wife Lori) and Christopher Beland (wife Naomi); seven grandchildren, Devon, Zachary, Tia, Brianna, Marissa, Conner, and Dillin; his sisters, Diane Whitcomb (husband Albert), Toni Maxham (husband Richard); and brother Mitchell Beland, as well as several nieces and nephews.
No formal services will be held at this time.
